Went home to good ol' Waynesville, NC this past weekend. Good to see the fam, dog, cats, mountains, etc. John raced Sunday and got a stick stuck in his leg; it looked really icky and now his leg is all puffy (stick is gone though). It was fun to have 300 plus TV channels for a couple days, instead of my measly four here. The only thing was that nothing interesting seemed to be on, even with all of those channels. Oh well. My parents had this old car top carrier that I decided to take with me on top of my car for the move out west. The only thing was that it shook and semiflopped open a couple times on the way back to DC, so it's kinda sketchy, but I think it will do. Back to work today. Got yelled at by this woman from upstairs who has a mostly shaved head except for a weird bundle of beaded braids on the side of her head. Hee. Hee.
