Friday afternoon we got a little kitty kat. He's a little fellow with black semi-fluffy hair and yellowy-green eyes. He has been named Marty. He's so funny. He enjoys sprinting across the living room and sitting on the laptop when John is trying to use it. He also likes sleeping on our faces or necks and nursing on our earlobes. Marty is quite a funny little guy.
Saturday morning I got a cyclocross bike, a '99 Jake the Snake. It's a little flashy for my taste (being orange with green tires and crazy red-orange bar tape stuff), but I like it. The lady I bought it from upgraded the shifters to Ultegra and put Avid brakes on it. She gave me the original brakes (what I'm going to do with them I don't know) and two sets of tires (knobby and slick). There's also some sort of computer on it, but I haven't figured out that thing yet. I also got some clipy shoes; I hadn't planned on buying them, but got a deal so I went for it. Not quite used to them, but I'll figure it out.
It's raining again... blah.
