I just heard on local news radio that Matt Damon has just signed on to film a movie about Lance's sixth Tour victory with Charlize Theron likely to play the part of Sheryl Crow. (See "Damon set to play Armstrong in movie") Filming is set to begin this September. All that seems to be missing now are four horsemen riding across the sky and the Apocalypse will be complete! Matt Damon as Lance Armstrong? How about this: Kevin Costner as Lance (sans mustache), David Grant as George Hincapie, Rae Dawn Chong as Kristin Armstrong (and then also as Sheryl Crow later in the film), with cameos by Eddy Merckx as Johan Bruyneel and Greg LeMond as Filippo Simeoni, and Bob Roll as Chris Carmichael, all set to a John Tesh soundtrack. Phil and Paul can play themselves. Now that would be an epic.
