John and I have been watching the tour... of course. We try to watch as live a coverage as possible (i.e. early in the mornings), but really it wouldn't matter because OLN has practically 24 hour coverage with the taped live stuff replayed 4 or 5 times a day it seems. In between the taped stages there are more tour things, some sort of tour coverage from the fans, lance the reality show, etc etc. I think the tour is great, but really it's a little overkill on that channel.
On another note... John and I went for a ride yesterday and I really found out just how out of shape I am. We didn't even go all that far or climb anything at all, just went up and down a bunch of rollies, but I gave a horrible performance. My wonderfully crap lungs did nothing for me and my shrimpy legs even less. Oh well. In the end I was actually glad I went through all that nonsense because now oddly enough I want to do it again and get better. We'll see how I do. Brought my bike out here to work today, so I'll give it another whirl today.
