Marty the Magnificent

No riding for me last week. Don't know what was up with my body, but it wasn't liking me, so I took off the entire week, which means I'm probably back to phase one. Hopefully that won't be the case, but I'm not going to expect anything out of mr. body. Spent last week being a vegetable and working. I got John a DVD/VCR for his birthday (which actually isn't till a week from today, but oh well it was a surprise). We broke it in watching Seabiscuit however cheesy the movie was, John enjoyed pushing all the buttons on the remote and changing every option he could. Marty is becoming the biggest cat ever; I've started to refer to him as the panther. He still acts like a dog though, insisting that we play fetch with him even though it is three in the morning and we don't realize we are laying on his stuffed mouse toy. This week is Vanderslice week in Denver, although I don't think the Denverians know this. It's starting to get cooler, but it's nice. Enough of this rant.
