John and I killed some brain cells yesterday watching football for 5 or 6 hours straight. While it was fun to watch we were both zombis afterwards. During the end of the Eagles/Falcons game, when it was obvious who was going to win, we noticed an amazing phenomenon, fur coats. The cameramen were panning around the spectators, focusing in on the moms of the players and owners of the team, key figures, etc. Most all of them were wearing fur and I'm not talking about a hint of fur on the top of a coat or a scarf or anything. We're talking about full length head to toe fur. And here I was thinking it was a faux pas to wear fur nowadays. Boy was I wrong. The best was when they focused in on McNabb's mom. She was decked out in her best Eagles jersey bedazzled for the occasion and over the jersey was a big ol' fur coat. Awesome!!
On another note... I'm getting all excited because cyclingnews is starting to talk about upcoming road races and whatnot again! After a couple months of boring news it's exciting to read about the European teams presentations, goals, and scandalous talk again. Oh this is going to be a fun season.
