I dreamt last night that I was a rich fool living in a mansion in nyc. for some reason the top of my mansion got destroyed, but I wasn't able to get around to fixing it b/c apparently the dead were coming into town and taking it over (and not the grateful dead, but dead dead, like zombies). one morning I stepped out of my mansion onto the streets and it was super colorful with people all dressed up (mainly I saw lots of people in saris) running here and there. it appeared to be some sort of multicultural religious thing. I asked one of them what was going on and this lady said, "they're here!" and pointed down the street. she immediately ran off and I looked to where she was pointing and I saw a gigantic jack-in-the-box clowny thing springing around the skyscrapers and destroying them. it was laughing manically and was actually bizarrely scary.
my friends (two boys played by movie stars) and I decided to stay in my mansion and fight of the approaching zombies. while we were getting weapons and whatnot together we discovered one of my guy friend's sister crying and hiding in a bathroom. she smelled like poo and was hysterical. we took her down into the cellar where our campout was and she disappeared into a closet. while we were waiting for the sun to go down and the zombies to come out my other guy friend taught me how to accurately throw a knife so as to do the most damage on my foes. one guy friend sported a spear and sickle; the other had a sword. I had a huge ax and a long throwing knife (the ax was really heavy and made my arms sore).
and then the sun went down and the dead started roaming. we could hear them outside on the streets. one came into our hideout and I threw my knife and got her in the stomach where she shrieked this awful sound and ran towards me. one of my friends then chopped off her head with his sickle. anyway, so all this fighting continues and it is always really dark and spooky. then we realize that in the daytime these "zombies" are really normal people who turn into zombies at night. it's around this time that I woke up.
