WNC

Home for Sale Waynesville NCHere is a lil picture of my hometown, good ol' Waynesville. It's a little town tucked between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Great Smokies in western North Carolina. I never really appreciated that this is where I was born and raised until I left I left. While I was there I was ready to go somewhere else because it could be so boring and the social sphere was very limited. I was pumped when I turned 16 and was old enough to drive over to Asheville and hang out in the "big city." It never occurred to me until now how special it was to be able to go on camping trips with my classmates up in the mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway or walk around Lake Junaluska in the afternoons. Even Asheville was "old hat" to me after a while. Boring old Biltmore Estate and Be Here Now shows and whatnot. I didn't even know Asheville that well either. Ha. Well I appreciate those places now. They are really pretty and fun places to live and I am proud that that is where I am from.
