I'm enjoying reading about the Tour of Georgia this week. When I read about it and see the maps of where each stage is and all that it makes me wish that this race had been going on during the time I actually lived in the area and would go to North GA every summer. Of course if it had been happening back then I would also have to wish that I would've been interested at the time.
My grandmother lives in Atlanta and when I see that the route goes right by her part of the city it makes me wonder if she even realizes it's happening at all. And then I see pictures of Macon and see on the maps that the race will be going through Helen and Dahlonega and it makes me happy. It's like they are riding through my hometown, that's how familiar I am with the area.
Yup, I like that race.
