One of my best friends, Jennifer aka. Gin, is getting married next weekend and I'm going to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. I've known this girl since preschool. We were BFF (Best Friends Forever) in elementary school until she "broke up" with me for that crazy Erica Smiley. We were friends through middle school and high school even though she went to a different school in a whole different town. We were friends at UNC where we attempted to exercise everyday but really just talked about boys and ate at the yogurt pump. We were friends when I moved to DC and are still friends now that I am in CO. The point is she is a good friend, a friend for life.
I'm excited for her wedding. I know that she has been wanting to get married and be a wife and a mom since she was little, so this is very exciting for her. Honestly, I'm not so excited about all the different parties and luncheons and whatnot that I have to attend, basically because John can't come to all of the various things and I want him to have a fun trip. Luckily his mom is coming up to visit, so I think he is looking forward to hanging out with her.
Back to the wedding... I think it will be really neat. I will be able to see a lot of friends that I haven't seen since college or before, some who will be in the wedding, some who have just moved back to WNC. Should be a good time.
