Memorial Day weekend was lovely. It's always nice to have a long weekend. I personally think we should always have three day weekends. It would split up the week more evenly (more or less) and make everyone who has to work an 8-5 office job so much happier. It would make me happier anyway and that's all that matters... ha.
I've been keeping up with the Giro d'Italia while it's been going on this past month and I'm very happy that Ivan Basso won. He's always been one of my favorites, even though John teases me about it. He's fabulous and I'm glad he won. I'd rather he win the Tour and maybe he still will, but I'm not so sure now. I guess we'll see. I'll be pulling for him. Anyway, I'm glad he won the Giro. He's Italian and all, so it's fitting. Hooray!
