Jan and MySpace

Here's a funny lil post from Velonews....

"The online community Myspace.com has made waves of the past few months because of the relative ease in which online sexual predators have used the website to find victims. Ugh.

Well, I'm here to tell you that it's also a great place to read some funny faux websites created by famous cyclists. Of course these sites aren't made and maintained by the real guys, but the comedians who are keeping them up deserve a round of applause. So far, I have found Myspace sites for both Tom Boonen and Jan Ulrich.

My favorite is the one about Jan. He has an updated blog with titles like: "Are you being hearing the sound of thunder?", "There is being steroids in his macaroni" and "Does the Jan's ass look fat in this?"

And under the 'About Me' section, Jan has listed:

'I am to be crushing the mountains to powder beneath my wheels. I will be to riding in the Tour de France on 2006, and the weak will break against my massive thighs like the ocean against the shore. Lance is no longer here to save you for sure, and my German blood sings a song of war and blood within me at the thinking of my assured victory. I am also a very good dancer. '

Well, Jan, I guess we'll have to wait until July to see."

HA! Click on "Jan and MySpace" above to check out the site.
