Fired Up Floyd, SAP Work, and Car Repair

Floyd and the Tour
Fun stage today in the Tour de France. Floyd was all fired up after kicking some ass and taking some names. He always seems so laid back and goofy, but not today. Usually I read the online live coverage on cyclingnews or one of those sites, but this week has been freakin ridiculously busy at work so when I finally get a lil break I check to see what happened in the day's stage. The past couple days I've definitely yelled at my neighbor, on the other side of the cube wall, "Holy shit. Guess what happened today...." Of course they don't care and they just laugh at my foolishness.

Most of the time I think the commentating on OLN is pretty silly. I like Paul, Phil, and Bob for the most part, but Al is just corny and annoying. The end part of today's stage was probably the best commentating. I think that the commentating was suppose to turn to Paul and Phil, but it didn't, so all you hear was chitchat between Al and Bob and an occasional "God Damn." Well done.

Lots of Work at Work
The company where I work is switching to SAP, which if you don't know is just some German computer program. Well in the transition my department gets to double process everything into both the old system and the SAP system. Double the work, but more like triple the work because we are all just learning this stuff as we go. My brain has been fried at the end of every day this week which have been ~10 hour days. Blick. I feel like I've got a good grasp on my department's side of things, but there are so many things that still need to be worked out that who knows if I really do or not. Oh well it's just work. I'm smart enough I guess, I'll figure it out.

Sooz's Car Repair Equation
My car has been doing some weird things for the past several months and I've been putting off fixing it for too long. Yesterday I dropped it off at the shop to get fixed. I always hate getting my car worked on. It's always a crappy equation of mechanics treating me like I'm a complete dumbass + more things needing to get fixed than I'm aware of / shop guys telling me that I need to get things fixed that probably can wait or don't need to be fixed at all = an expensive ass bill for overcharging me for crappy parts. This time I was pleasantly surprised. No big drama, straight forward service, no treating me like a moron, a wonderfully affordable bill, and a car that works wonders now.
