Sick and Nuts

I've got a cold. I'll admit it; yes, I'm sick. I hate being sick. The funny part of this is that I currently feel alright. I'm on about three different kinds of drugs (ibuprofen, some sort of decongestant, and a cough suppresant) right now. My head does feel a little floaty and my friends at work have declared that I'm nuttier than usual, but other than that I'm good.

Oddly enough I'm ok. I'm plowing through stuff and rockin out to Paul Oakenfold on the ipod. Yeah I guess it's a strange choice for a Thursday morning at work, but it's keeping me awake and moving and that's fine by me. Listening to Song to the Siren:

On the floating, shapeless oceans
I did all my best to smile
til your singing eyes and fingers
drew me loving into your eyes.
And you sang "Sail to me, sail to me;
Let me enfold you."

Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you.
Did I dream you dreamed about me?
Were you here when I was full sail?

Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken love lost on your rocks.
For you sang, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow."
Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow.
I'm as puzzled as a newborn child.
I'm as riddled as the tide.
Should I stand amid the breakers?
Or shall I lie with death my bride?

Hear me sing: "Swim to me, swim to me, let me enfold you."
"Here I am. Here I am, waiting to hold you."
