So I'm completely ridiculous sometimes... yesterday John and I went up to Loveland to make some menial purchases. We stopped by a Wendy's to get John some food and rolled through the drive-thru. When John rolled the window down at the first window, the Wendy's man working that window leaned practically into our car holding a piece of paper with an image of a frosty on it. Obviously John and I were taken aback by such an irregular occurrence. "Would you like to donate a dollar to help kids get adopted and stuff," said the Wendy's man. It was at this point that I noticed that this man was mentally challenged in some way. We said sure and handed the man our money. He rang us up and then leaned back into our car with the frosty shaped paper again.
"Here you go," he said. John asked what we were suppose to do. "Oh just put you're name on the frosty." John wrote my name and handed the frosty back to the Wendy's man. He smiled and before we pulled away to the next window he said, "I'll be sure to put it in our window for you!" Wendy's man was so enthusiastic about this frosty paper and putting up on the window that it made me all gushy feeling. Ha!
