This past weekend was unintially the weekend of Harry Potter movies. It all started when all John and I wanted to do one evening was watch a movie and kick back with Easter candy, so I picked out the third Harry Potter movie since it wasn't a new release and therefore cheaper. The next night the second one was on TV so we watched it. Then Sunday we thought, "well hell we might as well rent the newest one and watch it too," and so we did.
I have decided that the latest movies was wasn't done as well as the other ones. The flow of the story was odd, it was at times very corny and silly and at other times very dark and creepy. While that is fine in lots of movies the flow between the corny parts and the creepy parts didn't go very well. I also thought the character development was off and not as strong as in the other movies.
Overall however, those silly fun movies were just that, silly and fun.
